In the Bahamas

After many months of being locked out of my own blog, I am finally back in...on our second day after reaching Freeport, Bahamas. We are docked at Ocean Reef Resort. Retirement agrees with me.
This is our Quarantine flag, awaiting release from Customs and Immigration.

No Gridlock and new to her tender. Life is good.

  1. Hi seafarers I have just come across all your doings very interesting reading for me as I have recently become a proud owner of a 38c myself. I'm similar age bracket to you and planning the lifestyle you are enjoying, I still have a few details to organise with the rig probably another couple of seasons to be realistic. I will be fascinated to see where you went and the adventures you get up to. I live next to Brisbane Australia so would probably cruise around here to begin with, but I note my boat was sailed here from east coast us where it was made so they do have good sea credentials. I guess it all comes down to careful passage planning whatever your go out in. Happy sailing regards Mark Weiss

    1. Hello Mark, sorry for the very late response, I had notifications turned off. I am surprised to have made it as far as Central America what with the lack of attention to details...lol

  2. Good to see you guys made it safe and sound to the Bahamas! From the seafarer group posts it looks like you have a little tranny trouble. Good luck getting sorted out. We hope to be traveling south next year on our 38kcr.
